Introduction to Sailing
Two hours on the water with a captain/sailing instructor. Participate as much as you like or just enjoy the ride. Typically, ‘intro’s’ are scheduled on the even hour starting at 10am (10am, 12noon, 2pm or 4pm), Contact us to make your reservation for an experience you’ll never forget... .

Skills Refresher
Three hours on the water with a captain/sailing instructor. Need a quick refresher? This course is for you, the perfect way to get on the water to brush up on your sailing skills.

Sailing Review (ASA 111)
Looking to improve or re-familiarize sailing knowledge and skills acquired during previous ASA keelboat certification course(s)? Student and Instructor jointly decide on goals prior to the start of the review.

A two day hands-on course for couples or friends that are ready to learn to sail safely and confidently in  < 26’ sailboat on inland waters in winds of <15 mph.

Basic Sailing Course
ASA (101) Certification with three days on-the-water instruction for the sailing enthusiast who wants to learn the essentials of sailing. An accredited course that will allow you to command a sailing vessel <26 feet on inland waters in light to moderate winds.

ASA (101) Challenge
Certification made easy for sailors with sailing skills.  Half day session that includes: Review, MOB Demo, Written Exam, On-the-water Practical, and the ASA Official Logbook. On your boat or ours.

Basic Coastal Cruising Course
Would you like to be able to cruise safely in local and regional waters? This is a two day ASA (103) Certification course that provides the skills sets for you as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of about 20’ to 30’ in length, in moderate winds and sea conditions.

Develop the full range of skills to captain your own sailing vessel while saving money with this five day combination course of Basic Sailing Course (101) and Coastal Cruising (103).

Bareboat Cruising
Looking to increase your sailing knowledge to the next level? This is an advanced course for cruising individuals with cruising experience. Act as skipper or crew of a 30 foot boat sailing by day in inland/coastal waters. Course includes knowledge of boat systems and maintenance procedures. Three days and two night’s on-the-water course. (ASA 104 certification)

Chartering Fundamentals
Love sailing and wish to maximize your experience? Take the courses that will get you ready to charter in the islands or another country. This combination of advanced courses is for cruising individuals with cruising experience. Forty-eight hours of personalized instruction, plus two night’s on-the-water.
 (ASA 103 & 104 certification plus IPC)

Rate: $1875  per person

IPC (International Proficiency Certification)
This certificate is useful when chartering in European / Mediterranean waters.  Current American Sailing Association (ASA) members who have completed ASA 101 (Basic Sailing), 103 (Basic Coastal Cruising) and 104 (Bareboat Chartering), are eligible.

Coastal Navigation
Learn the theory and practices of navigational procedures required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland water. Six (6) weeks, one-3 hour night session per week or two weekends. Includes text book, workbook, and training chart.
(ASA 105 certification)

Proficiency Evaluation
Two hours of on-the-water sailing with an instructor who will share local knowledge, overview of unique features of the chosen boats rigging, and demonstration of your sailing skills. Required for non-USAIL graduates as part of the SNS membership application.
